And the Keywords Are….. v7ndotcom elursrebmem

John Scott announced today that the keyword phrase for our little contest is "v7ndotcom elursrebmem." He also announced amended rules that allow contestants to use non-linked banners instead of a link to v7n.

The removal of the link requirement now makes it possible for contestants to potentially win all the prize money.

To qualify for our cash contribution (which will include the money from Todd and Mike as well) contestants need to do two things:

1. Place a link to the non-www version of Matt’s blog (http://mattcutts.com/blog).

In order to be eligible for the cash, your site will need to show up in a backlink search conducted on the day the contest ends. (We will use Yahoo’s Site Explorer to verify compliance.)

2. Use one of the non-link alternatives for the duration of the contest. (We will track and logs linking sites in order to determine eligibility).

That’s it. I’ll post our winners on the afternoon of May 15th. The cash will be delivered the following day via PayPal.

    And what are ‘one of the non-link alternatives’ other than having the page listed at the top for the keywords??!!!

    I think one of those logos without link will meet the requirements.
